Web poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous types on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the dealer broadcasting "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers attain five cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s first card, you must in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantaneously to the casino. After the bet comes the face off. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, including a figure equal to the original bet. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The bank pony’s up money equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
