Poker has become globally celebrated lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years many variations on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the dealer announcing "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the other gamblers receive five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you must either make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s value is equal to your original ante, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantly to the casino. After the wager comes the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a figure in accordance with the original bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays out money even with your ante and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
