Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the western in an excellent game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the house, not like nearly all other poker games that players play with other players. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not have to fret about any other, more experienced players winning their cash.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game pace, novices will be able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make quick selections.
It is also simpler to play for an extended time with basically a small bit of cash since, to lose, each of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards face up and the house gets 7 cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
