Web poker has become world famous as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the dealer announcing "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different gamblers attain five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must either make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s value is akin to your original wager, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes immediately to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, plus a figure equal to the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The dealer pony’s up money even with your original bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
